Baldwin Virginian
The Burns Virginian first appeared in 1965 and was made until 1970. Bladwin took over the company in 1967 hence this one is a Baldwin model. It was aimed at the Country and Western and Jazz fields being a semi acoustic and with a mahogany body with flamed sycamore veneered top and bolt on neck.
It was a succesful model with its Bar-O-Matik pickups, volume and tone controls and a density control plus a three-way switch and the Baldwin name on the pickguard.
Its a very nice example showing one or two minor marks (see last photo) and minimal lacquer checking.
