Fenton Weill Electric Guitar

Fenton Weill Electric Guitar

Fenton electric guitar
The Fenton guitar was developed by Henry Weill and Jim Burns and was originally badged 'Burns-Weill'. Very few were made and this is badged 'Fenton Weill' - it is the same guitar dating from 1959, and it is very similar to the Burns Sonic guitar in shape, size and colour, but actually a much rarer guitar to find nowadays.
It has a small solid body in dark red with a black neck and red headstock.
It has a white scratchplate with a very small black plate as well. The two pickups are by Henry Weill, with two volume controls and one tone control plus a three-way pickup selector switch. The wooden bridge is wooden and adjustable, and the tailpiece is a very simple metal model.
The neck is very solid and has a twenty-one fret maple fingerboard with red
dot markers. The headstock, like the Burns Sonic is long and has the six on a side covered tuners and the white plastic plate containing the words 'Fenton Weill Guitar.'
Its very rare, fully working and plays really well.
