Framus Star bass

Dating from the early sixties and made in Germany this is a Framus Star bass. It is finished in dark red with black edging and the body, neck and soundholes are bound. With its single Framus pickup and volume and tone controls it has that great sixties sound. There is also a rhythm/solo switch on the tortoiseshell plate on the upper bout. It shows some wear to the finish but nothing major at all and is totally original apart from the replacement tuners. (The originals have been retained.)
