Gretsch Anniversary

Made in the USA in 1958 - the first year of the Anniversary. Its finished in sunburst with a fully bound body which is in very good condition showing a small amount of buckle rash, and some normal wear to the back of the neck. It has Filtertron pickups, with volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector switch.
This was originally a Single Anniversary model but many years ago was converted to a Double Anniversary by adding a second Filtertron and the necessary electrics etc. This has all been very well carried out with all the correct vintage parts, so it is not of the same value as a first year Double Anniversary but it is as good a player and looks equally as good and comes with its original Gretsch hardcase with superb red lining.
