Guarnierius Receveur tenor banjo.
A beautiful tenor banjo made in Paris by Guarnieri in the twenties or earlier
thirties and an instrument of real quality. It is, of course, a four string
banjo with an amazing wooden inlaid back featuring a mother-of-pearl
circle design - the work of an extremely high standard. The neck is V-shaped and the fingerboard has seven different abelone inlaid fret designs and the 'Receveur' name also inlaid on fret seventeen of eighteen. The headstock also has abelone inlays including words 'Guarnierius Luthier'
It is all original and comes in its original case.
