Hofner Senator bass

A really nice example of a Hofner Senator bass - this one dating from c.1963 and made in the Hofner factory in Germany. It has a ''brunette'' finish, a hollow body with a glued in neck and with a thirty inch scale. The width of the lower bout is sixteen inches, and the weight is four and three-quarter pounds so it is very light to use and easy to handle, and has that great sixties sound from the single ''staple'' pickup, volume and tone controls and flatwound strings.
Its in a very good condition and all original except for the missing pickguard.
