Otwin Melody

Otwin guitars were made in the fifties and early sixties in Germany by Otto Windisch - this one is an Otwin Melody. It has a hollow body and sixteen and three-quarter inch lower bout with fully bound body, neck, headstock and soundholes. the scratchplate has the socket and volume and tone controls with a three-way switch, and the two pickups have the Otwin name. Its a lovely looking guitar with its checkerboard markings.
